From the very early phases of NVH development to improvement actions on customer units, Novomec provides vehicle, system and component NVH testing and analysis services throughout all phases of vehicle development based on the test specifications of our clients.
At Millbrook's unique facilities, we are providing accelerated vehicle durability testing based on mileage or working hours. The off-road tracks and hill route section, which are only avaible at Millbrook in Europe, allow vehicle manufacturers to test their vehicles in more realistic real world conditions. Test scenraios are created based on the requirements of our clients.
Millbrook offers fuel economy, including electric vehicle range and energy consumption measurement, and exhaust emissions testing to a global automotive customer base. At Millbrook's full vehicle and component crash laboratories, we perform development and supporting services to meet Euro NCAP, European, US and other worldwide safety standards of vehicles and components such as steering wheel, seat, airbag, seat belt, bumper etc. Detailed information about our labs are available here.
Millbrook’s existing tyre testing facilities in the UK are complemented by Test World in Finland, part of Millbrook since September 2015. Test World is the premier test facility for winter tyres. Innovative indoor facilities allow testing on natural snow throughout the year.
Millbrook’s type approval expertise covers all types of vehicles and tyres for existing and proposed legislation for the UK, EU and other regions. Millbrook offers a one-stop-shop for expert legislative advice, negotiation with authorities, test programme development, project management and production of technical drawings and formal documentation.
As per ASTM and SAEJ requirements, we perform acoustic material testing such as absorption coefficient and sound tranmission loss.
